My mom grew up in Johnshaven, and I've visited lots of times over the years. I've bought candy in that shop as a kid, stayed at the Anchor with my wife (we got engaged in the park there, and walked down that road more times than I can count. My mom died in 2002 and we scattered her ashes on the hill just south of the village. I don't have any relatives left in Johnshaven any more, but we still visit my cousins up and down the A92 when we can. Thanks for giving me a quick visit.
I worked there briefly in 1979 for a pratt called Phillip Swales, remember him?
