England really need to put a decent Futsal team together. Surely there's loads of talented players who don't make it professionally and break into the first team of there club, who could try out. Problem is Futsal is seen as nothing here, people just aren't interested. Maybe the Pub 5-a-side leagues have given it a bad reputation.

If there was a proper league and more organization, then England could have a good Futsal team. Until then it's just a joke, below average team just thrown together.

@bobbymozza I think it's all done via the University of Bath, and the players are decent non-league players.

we are getting in an agreement here. so true what you said. so why have a english coach ? when it is in this coutry people with enough experience to give that futsal education that the english squad needs.

i do respect your opinion ive played against ipswich wolves a few times and they are no mugs! and yes 11 a side players turn out in the national league week in week out with a total disrespect for futsal ... but i believe with the right education 'some' players can make the transition

ipwsich woves 8-1 GB. i bring to the development my 22 years as a futsal player. and i am trying to help when i say 11-a-side players have bad habits. i see them try to play futsal every weekend. in this country to be english and good futsal player only when the kids who play futsal now grow up.

itstricky19, not your fault if you were called to play futsal for GB, who select you made the mistake. you are a 11-a-side professional player, maybe you should be picked to play for the GB basketball team too. is no respect for Futsal as a sport in this country.

I never played 11-a-side professional, me and other 6 other non 11-a-side players once beat great britain Futsal team 8-1. i scored an hattrick. i do know much.
