Industrial is so close a relative to Grindcore.By 'Industrial' i do not conclude bands like Fear Factory.I'm talking Test Dept, SPK, EN, Throbbing Gristle...The appearance of samples on Grindcore releases, the punk ethos of making noise with whatever means available, the musique concrete stigma.Those things are not with us anymore.I don't wanna sound like an old fart so i'll say that maybe this is a good thing,I dunno...

@snupcho Nowhere did I say he pioneered the genre, he moreso innovated it, Brutal Truth has been around for quite a while, Repulsion, Napalm Death, and even Carcass did not sound much like Grindcore on their earliest releases, even so the first true Grind release was Scum, and while some of the bands were gaining popularity in the underground, this album may be 7 years into the genre, but that still isn't very long and they formed in 1990 when there were very few Grindcore albums out at the time

@meshuggah2727 Bands like Repulsion have been developing this genre since 1984. Grindcore was definitely going strong in the UK already in the mid 80s as a natural upgrade to punk with Extreme Noise Terror, Sore Throat, Unseen Terror etc. Even early Napalm Death and Carcass were already popular in the late 80s. Terrorizer... So if you say Danny Lilker was pioneering the genre, I think he went into grindcore a bit late. But if you compare BT to wannabes like Whitechapel, yes they are oldschool :)

@snupcho This is still an oldschool Grindcore album, Grindcore was still a fledgling genre at the time this was released, in the early 90's.

@meshuggah2727 Dude there have been grindcore bands since the 80s, so this is not exactly an early grind album. Don't get me wrong, I love this, I think this is BT's best album, just mentioning.

@Korndude4561 They aren't all around 5 minutes, some of them are pretty short, they add a little variety to Grindcore, this song is slower than the rest but adds to the atmosphere of the album. One of the best Grind albums ever. This is also a pretty early album in the genre, very innovative album.
