This is part II of Courtright Reservoir.. Here we start back down the dome, and go to the dam.
This is a video taken by my friend, Oscar Garza, of Coalinga, California.
We are on top of a dome at Courtright Reservoir. The elevation of the dome is approximately 8,700 ft. The elevevation of Courtright Reservoir is about 8,200 ft. The date it was taken is June 15th, 1991.
Courtright Reservior is in Eastern Fresno County, about 2 hours away from Fresno. We call this "God's Country". We have been backpacking up around the peak you see that's looks like a tooth, it is Dogtooth Peak.
For those of you into 4-Wheeling,in most of the video you are looking directly at the Dusy Trail.
This dome is less than a 1/4 mile away from my "private camping site", at Courtright Village (TOP SECRET!)
The first time we were at Courtright was in 1984.
