  • look at it again. it's clear at the 1:41 mark. The LOS is the 32 and ross is just behind the 33. Boateng realizes the error and steps forward to the LOS just before the snap to make Ross eligible but I guess a little over a yard back isn't enough. what drew the flag was the two of them having an animated argument right before the snap. Its a ticky tack penalty completely away from the play but not an awful call. SC had some bad ones go against em too.

    Pac10 refs, equal opportunity suck

  • cal scored and im a sc fan that was a bullshit call

  • Basically, people need to LEARN THE RULES before you think you know enough to criticize the officials. I knew what happened as soon as I saw them snap the ball on the FIRST replay the night of the game! These announcers are stupid for not seeing it. Do they really think the penalty was on any of the linemen that were blocking? They don't even know what constitutes the "backfield" and the "line of scrimmage"

  • On the ineligible man downfield penalty, the referee doesn't give a number but it was probably on the player split out to the left hashmark. He should be well off the line of scrimmage ( he's not). Since there is another player outside of him on the line of scrimmage, this makes him the same as an interior lineman (ineligible) regardless of what number he wears. He was more than 5 yards downfield so it's a penalty. Also should have been illegal motion on top receiver moving up so close to snap.

  • @EliteFours who cares quit whining you fuckin fag

  • if u look closely at the Usc TD, It is clearly not a catch! The Ball clearly touches the ground when he caught it! Pause at 1:10

  • @oskigodumb LOS at the 32? NO

  • wow, that last call, just...wow.

  • its sorta like that but it is when u continue to dip boom or drill the qb.. like if i was running and i was like 5 yards away from u and u threw the ball i bumped u thats not it but if i came flying in and picked u up and slamed u in the ground after the ball was relized i was ganna get called tho

  • correct me if i'm wrong:

i was under the impression that 'roughing the passer' is when the qb has released the ball, and the defender, who has time to 'not hit the qb', but still continues to put him on the ground. if the usc guy just bumps into him without knocking him down, no pentalty. i agree with that call. he didnt rough him, but it wasnt needed.

its obvious that the 'td' actually WASNT a td.

the 'guy downfield' was downfield well after the pass. linemen or not, it was after the pass.

  • that USC catch in the end zone pissed me off so much when i saw cause u can see in the replay he didnt catch and the announcers say nothing

  • Oh c'mon what do you expect? It's fucking USC, on NATIONAL TV and you think their going to lose?????
