Rachel Belinsky of Switchyard does a beautiful rendition of the Misfits Hybrid Moments. When I heard the lyrics; "When do creatures rape your face", the concept of alien monsters over running a spaceship immediately came to mind. Because Rachel is pocket-sized and adorable, making a cutesy interpretation was inevitable.

Be sure to watch in High-Def

  • She is not succumbing to death. She's the one who set the ailens on the rest of the ship! At the end, she holds hands with her new friend. Didn't anyone see the look on her face at 2:09?

  • I think she released the ailens on the other people on the ship. That's why none of them attacked her. At the end of the vid, she holds hands with her new friend. Didn't anyone see the evil look in her eyes?

  • This is a fantastic cover of one of my all-time favorite sings! Glenn would dig this.

  • She's walking to her death. Awesome video. S/he finally succombs to death at the end, asking for one more moment- a hybrid one- of sheer terror, and final peace.

  • Well, I see the end differently, I guess. the handhold is just her giving in to death. she's trying to escape the whole time, and then- in the final seconds, she meets her death, and accepts it. Hence the eyes closing and asking for a moment. Hybrid moments- a hybrid of utter terror and final rest.
