This is part three in my tiny foods series. This is a great craft for kids using polymer or sculpey clay. This shows how I make a tomato. This is pretty easy, and is good for kids just starting out. It's easy to make a little basket of tomatoes, or maybe some tomato buttons or earings! Have fun, Ellyn!

From my Dad: Sculpey clay has been around for almost 50 years and is one of the best craft mediums for kids. It is very easy to form into any shape and is in use by everyone from beginners to professional artists. Sculpey clay and polymer clay is used to make everything from your favorite character such as Elmo or Nimo or maybe a miniature Taylor Swift or Gaga doll. The great thing is that the clay bakes at a low temperature so the artist can use a simple toaster oven without using a lot of electricity or heat. Get your children involved in polymer clays, they're a great creative stimulator and a great alternative to T.V.!
