The second part of the war train features a khaki liveried war department 2-8-0 Austerity loco (Bachmann) hauling amongst other things three war office 14 ton tank wagons no's 83,84 and 85 which were specially produced for Castle trains at Warwick The train is completely fictional and made up of anything I had handy at the time to put behind the Bachmann Austerity.Bachmann reference number for this loco is 32-255 and actually ran as number 78697 attached to the 21st Army Transport Group. Other locos in the clip are a lima class 20 on empty coal wagons and a converted S15 4-6-0 on a mixed passenger.

  • Excellent as always Stuart. Every time I watch your video's there is always a lot to see in the background also. I said to one of my chums, " a railway is NEVER completed, it just keeps evolving".

    Well done,
