The adds for this charger say it can monitor on the PC the temp of the battery while it is being charged.
However, it appears you have to choose to set the port on the charger for either the temp sensing "OR" the USB connection to the computer.
That means one would not be able to do both at the same time.
In other words, you can not hook up the PC and monitor the temp at the same time.
Am I missing something ?

This is a great charger. Easy to use, and charges my 2S Lipos and various NIMH batteries nice and fast.
