  • If I've learned one thing from being involved in boxing it's this: Straight is great. Klitschko has some of the best straight punches in boxing period, the straight shot is almost always quicker than a hook or haymaker, it's kind of strange to me that Haye never matured beyond those looping hayemaker shots in his style. I will say another thing ragu, in fencing the jump forward move has to foot sideways so you can lunge in quickly, if you practice you can get a good three feet on it. Great vid.

  • @rjbonacolta True. But is that for power? The lunge in has to be both for boxing. The Foil will take care of the rest when you lunge in. I still bet you go farther with your foot straight though.

  • @bigragu

ive noticed in the fight when haye used his straight left jab coming from the peekaboo style instead of his jab coming from the bottom (as he sometimes drops his left hand), and then followed with a hook, he landed the hook well. some of the best shots haye landed on wlad were landed after his jab. the dude above me is right to say if he used straight punches it would have been better IF he followed with a 2ndary/3rd combo punch.

  • @kingkevinjoy True, but that would have meant that Haye needed to change his entire fighting style. He's fought his entire career with the low left and 1-2 punches. Tall order to fill. Don't forget, you fight how you train and you can't just magically switch it up once that bell sounds.

  • @bigragu - having the right foot ata right angle to the body when lunging in creates drag , its detrimental in boxing and sword fighting ( kenjutsu and Iaido ) cant speak for foil.

really bad form on hayes part - his trainer should have picked up on it ages ago , with your stance set at a right angle your also not using your balance correctly.

    also Haye sucks ass.

  • @ThePanzerfist44 It makes you wonder who trains these guys and why I'm not making that money training them the right way! :) My coach was on me from day 1 to keep that foot straight and not cocked sideways. It's not uncomfortable but you are aware of it. And yes, your balance is better because you move more naturally.

Nice singing:), why do you think that Klitschko pour Adamek?

In the past, Adamek showed that it is a really good boxer, he has speed and most important is clever boxer.

  • Haye was in knockout or lose situation.

He didnt show his true ability but this result wasnt a suprise.
