The first thing that you have to come to terms with is that the movie is a completely different entity than the books. It does true to some of the main themes and ideas of the books but the story is completely different. There are some moments and lines that are taken directly from the books, but on the whole it takes a completely different direction. The movie starts off really good. It is entertaining and enjoyable, and the scene when he tells off his boss is one of the greatest things I’ve seen on the big screen in a long time but they lost me after a while. The story just took too many turns to hold my attention and prevented me from truly enjoying a great scene when Wesley runs through the fraternity’s hide out just killing everyone. The action was good and really reminded me the type of stuff I would come up with as a kid playing with my hot wheels. I mean with all the flipping around and jumps I was like I swear I’ve had that car chase on my bedroom floor. One of the biggest problems that I had with the movie is that they seemed to bring up a lot of stuff but not really address it. The main on being Wesley’s power that allows him to be the efficient killer he really is. He was told what it was and how he needed to learn to control it but there was no point when he figured it out and as the audience we never got to see him turn it on and off. There was no payoff for his power. The other was the construction of all the crazy bullets I’d like to know why they were constructed and how. You know we’ve been spoiled a bit with Iron Man and the Hulk but all in all it’s a good summer popcorn action flick but it doesn’t even come close to the books.

  • People, he didnt watch the movie, he just gathered all the trailers and piled them into a 5-6 minute movie. He did learn how to control his ( ability), not power. And they didnt go all over the place with the story, it was solid. This guys a joke.

  • I don't see how you get lost in the storyline. Simple as hell. Great movie, retarded review.

  • this guy is annoying

  • he has no clue what hes talkin bout

  • he is a fcukin queer who watchs too many films

  • hey there bullshit too

  • i agree and dont the bullets disappear when you get shot?

  • He lied..he said his power never came up and didn't show..but it did..whenever he shot the wings off the flys. Whenever he had to practice putting his hand in and out of the snatch thing..and he used it to kill his father and that's how the bullets always connected to each other whenever they shot at each other.

  • dude ur voice is annoying as fuck
