Most definitely. I agree Rhosnesni. The bulk of people had LASIK within the past 5 years, every year from here on out, should show the "Permanent Injuries/Adverse Events" such as dry eye with no cure (that is why Restasis Eye Drops were invented) , halos, starbursts, double vision etc...occur. Worst yet, every "enhancement" was supposed to be filed into FDA's reporting system called Medwatch, and was not. LASIK doctors don't file, because they don't want to be shut down. How egregious!!!

People are so dumb. It's called informed consent. It says right in there "you can go blind, your flap may not heal, this procedure may not work, you may see halos...etc." Same goes for any other surgery. By signing that consent you are assuming all risks. IT'S ELECTIVE, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RISK IT, DON'T DO IT!!

Sorry you feel it's bitching. I'm trying to help you to educate yourself that every LASER is dangerous. The FLAP is permanent and never heals, rather like a Tupperware lid. The microkeratome blade slashes corneal nerves, most never heal, therefore your eyes (even though you have no contacts) aren't able to produce enough natural tears, leaving LASIK victims (from good or bad docs) with a burning sensation and "dry eye spots" never to be cured. It's amazing I personally know around 50 people who have had Lasik, myself included, and not one of us is suicidal, unable to drive at night, getting divorced due to Lasik (LOL...that's a good one) . And that's not even counting the HUNDREDS of friends of friends who have had it done and love it. There are a few horror stories out there on the web, but then again people have bad outcomes from nose and breast jobs too. Frankly, I find all your exaggerated claims and posts to be quite disturbing.

I think people only notice complications after LASIK 5,6,7,8 years after the procedure, when the eye quality starts deterioating. The people who aren't complaining about it seem to have had the procedure done quite recently, within 5 years I'd say...

doctors are not telling you the whole truth about lasik side effect percentages or of what may happen to you in the future. did your doc tell you about his previous patients with complications? I dont think so. this is a dangerous ellective procedure with serious complications that are downplayed by the surgeons. if driving or flying was a dangerous to your health as lasik is nobody would be driving or flying. My eyes were destroyed by lasik doctor Keon Nia.

Here's how to prevent myopia and put the Lying Lasik doctors out of business . If you are myopic STOP HAVING CHILDREN or please ,for the love of god don't have as many ,and give more attention and care to the ones you have .If a person caused someone who could see ,to have myopia it would be a felony , but if you give birth to someone who has it you can get away with "tough break for you!" Sorry I rant .
