Deleted scene from Bram Stoker's Dracula, can be found on the special edition DVD.
Sorta an extension of the waltz scene that plays as Harker escapes from Dracula's castle, showing Harker managing to ward off the brides as he escapes. The final cut of the movie just shows him scaling the castle wall and falling into the water. Not shown was him reaching a Nunnery and being taken in. (its just the same scene as in the final cut, only without the voice over and Harker showing the nuns the coins he took from the castle to prove hes been there.)
Now while I agree with most of the deleted scenes since some were just extensions or just downright silly. I wish they had used this scene, its really provided a perfect contrast to Jonathan situation with dealing with the female vampire while Dracula tries to move on his wife. The transition was nicely done too. I can understand if it dragged out the scene but still. Didn't help that they used this scene on the back of the VHS and first DVD release.
Hmm. I guess I can see why they deleted this one, but I wonder why they removed the others

I always used to get ticked off how this scene with the Brides is on the back of all the VHS/DVD/BLU RAY copies yet it was never included...something about this scene i love!

I imagine they cut this scene due to the silliness of harker putting those two pieces of wood together to make a cross and keep the brides off of him. I actually like that part, it gives the feel of a classic vampire film!
