I feel you have very sudden turn rather than the slow drag the blues dancing is so famous far. I felt you are trying to match the beat of the music. Your posture and dips were spot on. One quick note for a lady dancer is to make a use of your shoulder a little more. I believe you will become an amazing dancing given you only dancing for one semester so far. You both have a keen sense of artistry. Your blues dance is for blues what American tango is to Argentine tango. What you lack in the feeling for an African American art form you make up in technique and precision of movement. There are many tango elements in your dance. Very interesting.
