Act F.A. pretty sure E8 and possibly L3 rolling as a spare for L8? Maybe L8 was out of district, unknown but a good shot of the old truck! Springfield, Mass.

Nice video. That was in fact Ladder Co. 8 using spare ladder 3 (the old Maxim). Ladder Co. 5 in Indian Orchard has taken semi-permanent possession of the only spare rear mount aerial in the fleet (old Ladder 8 ironically) as a result of their (ladder 5) primary rigs motor seizing up late last year so the department had to hang on to the old Maxim instead of disposing of it like they wanted to.

@WMAfirebuff AH thanks! There fleet is getting pretty old now, most engines are 95's. Wonder when there going to start replacing the engines. I've been meaning to get out to a job in Springfield.

yeah ladder 8 had a transmission problem so they were using spare ladder 3. nice video
