You are very entretaining, and I understand perfectly what you are going through, I am a chilean living in the US. I get so homesick sometimes that I browse Utube to see videos of Santiago, my hometown.
Best of luck in Chile, is a good place, trust me.

You're so right about Starbucks and McDonalds, I don't really care about McDonalds but is good to have a nice well made coffee. I mean, they don't even have those mugs in colors!! ): And well, Pizza Hut and the pepperoni pizza... not the same, and hard to find it in other "pizzerias". The cinnamon sticks are the same though, maybe better.
I'm from Santiago, I just spent like...six months straight in New York, now I have my preferences. (:
Nice videos.

I really wish you the best of luck! As a chilean guy with many "gringo" friends, I can imagine how strange and weird some of our customs may seem to you (including our food). Just try to stay open minded, exercise your patience, and you might end enjoying some of the differences ;-).
Good luck and please keep sharing your thoughts with us! :-)
p.s. Have you drank some pisco?

Absolutely! I LOVE Pisco Sours! Any recommendations on where I should go to get the Perfect Pisco Sour?
Best Regards, and thanks for watching!
