  • @ RUTANG1 It is true. By putting straight pipe and having no compression it would ruin your engine. I did the research and I'm glad I did. The best and easiest thing to do is to get a "glass pack" muffler and fit it to your exhaust system. You'll get the grunt without having to worry about your engine getting messed up.

  • @germanchocolate1982 ran it for 9 months before getting stopped and ticketed for no mufflers, i threw some 18 inch glasspacks on it 10 months ago and she is still running, the compression thing is a big arguement but if you take care of the motor it isnt a problem, thats why top fuel dragsters and funny cars dont have mufflers

  • nothing to do with your video but, those wheels, are they stock? cause i like them, kinda what i'm looking for, for my Dakota

  • yeah stock 16in wheels

  • hey is yours posi i have a 94 aswell but it aint posi

  • yeah

  • dude i got a 96 ram with a 5.2 and i ran straight pipes with a 5 inch tip. that thing is loud

  • I have a 94 Ram with a 5.9L with more than 230K miles, can anybody tell me if it can do a burnout?

  • @germanchocolate1982 the compression deal is only true for 97+

  • @germanchocolate1982 Not true, that's only if your car or truck doesn't have and EFI system. It's that a carb is going to cause a lot more damage to your valves do to the fact that a carb prodeces more fuel than needed.

  • @germanchocolate1982 thats a bullshit about str8 pipes fucking up ur motor.the only way u can fuck ur motor is if you run off of ur headers for about 2 months then it will slowly loss compression dont listen to fuck tards on internet forums they will take u that u need a new motor when its your spark plugs.but yea glasspacks are great!.i recommend them before a 75 dollar flowmaster

  • A 4 stroke engine does not need back pressure to run but a little will won't do any harm but a 2 stroke does need back pressure run

  • @germanchocolate1982 Leave the cat on, and you get enough more than enough back pressure. No muffler=no problem.

  • I'm thinking of cuting my muffler off and just puting a pice of pipe in its place. As of now there is a hole about the size of a pop can on the front of the muffler. Yeah so just wondering about the hole compression thing.
