what is the difference between a bench block and a dapping block? i THOUGHT i was buying a bench block but when go home the box said dapping block - it's steel, flat and 4x4.... do i have to return it and get something else? =0(

The dapping block is the tool you need for doming your blanks. The bench block is the steel surface you need for stamping. Did you purchase the bench block from us? Sounds like what you have is a bench block.

Are there stamps for lower case letters? Or do most people just use upper case?

Hi, We are glad you enjoyed the video! We do stamp on different colors of anodized aluminum. The way we oxidize the letters is with metalic color sharpie. If you go on our Beaducatio channel, you will find videos on working with our anodized aluminum.

Thanks for this video! I'm very interested in learning how to stamp on metal but i would like to stamp on dark metal (black matte is what i had in mind)... is that possible or will the letters not show as much?
