I'm impressed that the video of this imprompty performance of the song has been viewed over 13,000 times. I remember someone from the back of the hall in Brighton shouting out this song's name, and Don gamely obliged, though he hadn't performed it as far as I know for decades! I wish Don would perform this song sometimes - after a rehearsal, that is! It's a lovely cheeky song, and at one level I believe is about America.

Hi - thanks for your comment.
When I went to the show I had no real camcorder, just some crappy Archos thing which was a portable hard drive, audio recorder, digital camera, mp3 player and emmm, a crappy VGA camcorder. I know it was rubbish but it was all I had at the time, sorry about that.
Six months ago I treated myself to a Sanyo HD Camcorder which produces fantastic results even in low light and records sound perfectly no matter how ear shattering the sound is.
