Yeah this game is optimized pretty terribly. You can tell it was just a quick console port.

man i don't see what's the big problem here, i can't run Mercenaries 2 smoothly. i have a 8600GT (not the Fatal1ty) 512mb GDDR3, 2GB RAM DDR2 667Mhz just like you and a better CPU, Core 2 Duo E8600 (3.33Ghz. with 6mb L3 cache) but f*ck the game is terribly slow :|

9xxx is a remake of 8xxx and the 8xxx is a remake of 9xxx Theres just always new technology and features in it but they ALL have the things that old cards did, just better

I wouldn't do that if I were you... the 8600gt is fine, but not to run Crysis or Crysis Warhead. Try getting at least a 9600gt.

I Have a Atlhon 64 3200+ And 2GB Ram DDR 400MHZ and GeForce 7600GT XFX GDDR3 256/128 AGP 8X. can i run this game in medium?

I believe you can... but this game is pretty laggy, even though graphics are pretty lame compared to recent games(Textures looks like a PS2 game, only with bump mapping).
