"No Other Love", derived from Etude in E major, Op. 10 No. 3 by Frederic Chopin. Arranged by Paul Weston and recorded by Jo Stafford in 1950. The French song "Tristesse", sung by tenor Tino Rossi in 1939, was also derived from this Etude. ALEX ON PIANO.
Lyrics by Bob Russell:
No other love can warm my heart
Now that I've known the comfort of your arms
No other love
Oh the sweet contentment that I find with you
Every Time
Every Time
No other lips could want you more
For I was born to glory in your kiss
Forever yours
I was blessed with love to love you
Till the stars burn out above you
Till the moon is but a silver shell
No other love
Let no other love
Know the wonder of your spell.
@gillian1626 I have it and ended up just buying it on eBay from a used sheet music seller. I think it's pretty much impossible to find otherwise--it's been out of print for a long time.
