I saw Pelle's last home game before he was killed. I also played hockey as a kid at The Colliseum in Voorhees, NJ, where he got drunk at the bar there.

I had the pleasure of watching him play for the Maine Mariners in thew 80-81 and 81-82 seasons. This guy brought an electricity to the Cumberland County Civic Center like no one ever had. The saves this guy made were absolutely incredible. It was so exciting to see him go to the big dance and do so well. Then so very sad to see his life end so quickly. One can only wonder if he may have attained numbers similar to those of Patrick Roy.
