don't you have the problem with your hot rod that there is too much bass when you play it with the jaguar? i play a jaguar MIJ and there is too much bass on the neck pickup -.-

I CANT FIND ANY NEW JAGUARS THAT DONT HAVE THE FUCKING HUMBUCKERS. I bought one though, the jag with the humbuckers is a really cool sound but i really want a real jag like you have.

All three knobs (Distortion, Filter and Volume) are set around 11 o'clock.

How do the stock pickups on the jag take distortion? do they hum loudly? or squeal a lot? i've been thinking of buying one, i play a lot of Built to spill meets nirvana meets Radio head, so i play clean, but when i add distortion it's heavy, can it handle it?

I imagine the answer would be yes -
where do you live and what are you wearing?

Me? I live in Northern Ontario, Canada and am wearing a Pierre Trudeau t-shirt a friend of mine gave me as a gift.

I love the jag but the stock pickups squealed like crazy with microphonic feedback. I stuck some SD quarter pounders for Jaguar in it and it's perfect. They handle the distortion well but retain the jag sound.
