    FWIW, the original publication date was 1908.

    Also,

    the lyric is "... Snow time ain't no time to stay outdoors and spoon ... " (Think about it. -- But I think you may already know that and the line just came out wrong the first time. *g*)

    I think you'd do a great job on the whole song if you included the verses too.
