No offense to you, but personally I think these things are stupid. If you need a rear view backup camera to drive in reverse, plain and simple you shouldn't be driving.

don't need it to drive in reverse. it's another gadget like my carputer. you can't even phantom how it can help parallel park and avoid accidents, especially in certain cars with bad rear visibility? anyway, i'm more paranoid of other drivers so i have it hooked up to a dvr like my forward dashcam.

Yeah. Oh, and I hope you mean I can't "Fathom" how it parallel parks, because Phantom does not apply to this. I'm sure it helps, but it shouldn't be necessary.

Lol, I can usually parallel park perfect with the odd times I hit the curb(I don't go over it though). But anyway I see what you mean but I know I don't ever want any of that electronic crap in my vehicles. To me its just extra junk you have to get fixed.

lol, i really can't fathom spelling or english for that matter it seems. my cam doesn't really help judging curb distance, just how close you are to the car behind. useful for really tight spots (with inches to spare). desperate here in nyc with parking. yeah, extra junk will break but i enjoy installing (debugging and fixing) stuff. nerdy, i guess.

How do U keep the camera on at all times ?

Whereas it only is supposed to come on in reverse ?

Instead of splicing the power to the reverse lights, I connected it a fuse that is always on with the ignition using an Add-A-Circuit.

Back Up Camera Quality Display on the Screen is so horrible it makes backing up even more difficult!!! We need to correct that in every automobile.
