South Africa's public education system shows signs of serious decline. Reports of dismal graduation rates, bad teachers and crumbling buildings are commonplace. Martin Phillips reports for VOA from Grahamstown that in Eastern Cape Province, one of the poorest regions in the country, the public education system is in chaos.

Templar, I am from South Africa and THE ECONOMY IS NOT THRIVING. EVERYTHING THAT IS GOVERNMENT RUN IS FALLING APART!!!

South Africa has a large higher education system comprising 21 universities, l5 Technikons (Universities of Technology), 50 Teachers Training Colleges and scores of Agricultural and Nursing Colleges. Its the same in Ukraine, Russia, Kosovo but meanwhile not every City life Teacher will go to the Rural Areas but they need 2change.
