The lure of Scientology is the social aspect. Friends lure in friends, lovers lure in lovers, and when one joins, everyone is excited to have you. It's not that there's something wrong with your judgment. It's the seduction of being part of something and fitting in with a community. Having a whole group of people who believe what you believe.

And to top it all off, what you are seeing is representative of its corrupt management. They act more like a mafia than a religion.

The people you are seeing here are what is known as Scientology handlers, aimed at "handling" the critics that protest outside of Scientology events or Scientology orgs. They don't represent the public Scientologist.

If you want to see a 10 year update of the guy with the beard (Dan Murnan), google "brainwashed to age" ... you may be shocked.
