http://www.NJHotShots.com ... Junior center Michael Aaman went 4-for-4 from the line over the final 35 seconds as third-seeded Raritan held on to defeat 13th-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven 43-35, in the Shore Conference Tournament final at Monmouth University.
Aaman, the team's 6-foot-8 center, finished with a team-high 22 points and a game-high 24 rebounds. He shot 8-for-14 from the field and 6-for-8 from the free throw line.
Rumson-Fair Haven senior guard Kevin Alter scored 16 of his game-high 24 points in the second half. Alter, scored all of Rumson-Fair Haven's 13 points in the fourth quarter.
It was the 1st SCT final appearance for Raritan since they won the title in 2004 and Rumson-Fair Haven made it to the finals for the first time in school history.
