Her heart is, but she absolutely smacks down Angus on rhythm, riffs, and leads and convinces you she doesn't want to be anywhere else. What a show. Maybe women ARE taking over the world when they can bring the noise better than us guys in cover bands can.
(the guy who got to carry Adrian around the Moose on his shoulders not once but twice Friday night is STILL recovering from shock!). Forget whatever you might think about AC/DC. These girls bring rock and roll absolutely pure and uncut and give you everything you've ever wanted from a quality club/stage show. 'Riff Raff' is my favorite, but they flat out bring it on everything from 'Rosie' to 'Shoot to Thrill' to 'Shook Me' to . . . well you name it. Maybe Adrian and the Sickness is where
I got to see these grrrls Friday night and New Year's Eve at the Mangy Moose in Jackson Hole. Unfreaking real. Blew the roof off two nights running. I haven't seen a club show that jammed the dance floor 10 seconds into the opening song (Rock and Roll Train) and didn't let up for an hour and 45 minutes ever. I've been in cover bands for 15 years and haven't seen this level of intensity, absolutely accurate playing, energy level, commitment to audience participation . . . .
