  • Yeah, I was really surprised that he liked using auto tune. He thinks it's great....

  • @johnkirk4 Todd can use autotune, use it correctly, then use it innovatively, and make it sound fabulous. It's the magic of Todd.

  • @gudatine Yeah yeah !! XO XO Todd Rundgren IS DA MAN 4 EVER .. no one Like Him !! ♥♥♥ XO

  • I think this is great! I love dance music! Everything he does is great!

  • just love to hear him sing

  • Rundgren has an excellent level almost always ..... and since its beginnings in the late sixties.

  • @johnkirk4 ive ben a todd fan for 40 years and i think its one of his best efforts

  • @johnkirk4 I understand what you're saying and why, but you must also understand as a musician he's just moving along with the times. That is what Todd has always done, Nearly Human was a good example of his efforts to evolve and survive while maintaining his roots. What is more noble, slowly fading into obscurity and dying out with your hits or breaking new ground, appealing to a new generation, THEN laying the hits on em?

Todd moves in mysterious ways you know.

  • so what if he used auto tune? they don't call him todd rundgren-interactive for nothing. TR-I forever.

  • Todd used Auto Tune on his LIARS album (listen to Afterlife, for instance). Todd is a techno-freak and he has been working with electronic effects for 40 years. Why wouldn't he want to play around with Auto Tune?

I'm a major serious Todd fan, and I am digging this CD, I think it's terrific.

  • @johnkirk4: Agree. After seeing the AWATS tour in Sept. '09 (Akron) and Todd/Healing tour (Indy) in Sept. '10, reliving the brilliance that was those albums ... this is really disappointing.

  • As a Todd fan for 37 years, I must say that this is the absolute worst piece of garbage that Todd has ever released. Todd should be ashamed of himself.
