Was it infected also did your nail grow back and did it hurt at all i am getting ingrown toenail surgery

Hurt like hell for weeks!!!! only kidding. You'll kick yourself you didn't get it done sooner but it depends on your pain threshold. My toe did get infected but I cleaned 3-4 times a day and soaked it in salt water once a day which draws out the infection. If yours is infected do this daily until you get the op done. see next post.....

I didn't feel any pain or after effects after the surgery just needed to rest up for a bit (no long distance walking)! Once the toe nail is cut away and removed that bit will should never grow back again as the root of the nail is burnt away with a sort of acid (this does not hurt). So for example, my toe nail was about 2.5cm wide and its now 2cm wide. The skin grows over so the toe nail doesn't look mutilated!

My Toe is fine, just wish I'd got it done when I had my left toe nail done. Would of cost a lot less money. Toe Nail Hint: File your nails instead of clipping them!
