OSAS is the first lie

Once saved always saved is rebuffed by hundreds of verses of scripture. You CAN depart from the faith (1Tim 4:1) and forsake God, lose salvation and end up in hell AFTER having been saved from sin. Be not deceived. God is not mocked. We WILL reap what we sow, and receive for the things weve done. Jesus said that the way to life is narrow, and FEW find it, but MOST denominations believe OSAS even if they claim they don't. Calvinists claim they don't teach it, but "the perseverance of the saints" (one of the five points of reformed doctrine) is the same thing as OSAS. So is "eternal security". This doctrine is the very one Jude referred to in v. 4: ungodly men snuck into the church, and have twisted God's grace into lasciviousness and denied Christ by teaching OSAS. It is the same license-to-sin lie Satan told Eve: "Ye shall not surely die (if you choose to disobey God)". OSAS teachers will not consent to wholesome words, even to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, or to the doctrine which is according to godliness, so Paul says "they are proud, knowing nothing". They are perverse men of corrupt minds, destitute of the truth. Believers are commanded to "from such withdraw yourself". (1Tim 6:3-5) If ANY man preaches any other gospel (such as OSAS), let him be accursed (Gal 1:8,9). This man-pleasing, license-for-iniquity was prophesied about in 2Tim 4:3,4. It appeals to those who "will not endure sound doctrine" (such as Repent and be baptized Acts 2:38) but who instead build temples (Hos 8:14a) and hire professional thieves and robbers who pander to their lusts. BEWARE! If we bless the covetous false prophets, we partake of their evil deeds (Ps 10:3/2John 1:9-11). OSAS is the antithesis of the true Gospel of Christ! FORSAKE IT!

@ElectedWatcher you ask this question>.What did Jesus die, resurrect, and ascend to heaven for...? surely he must have done this so that after you turn away from sin and turn to God, then you get a free pass to turn back to your sin and away from God.. but no .. when you are saved you are given a measure of his spirit and only when you walk in his spirit will you be cleansed by his blood from your sin.. you cannot walk in the spirit and fulfill the lust of the flesh.

@LivingFaith2 hahaha Acts 20:21,try reading the KJV or ESV bible and see the correct meaning.Repent towards God and faith In Jesus.That means change your mind from trying to be Good to placing full trust in Jesus and finished work on the cross.Revelation is pretty much talking about same thing.Repentance of sins isnt a part of salvation.Thats a lie.

You say that OSAS eternal security is satanic....? there are so many scriptures that prove eternal security beginning with (sadly for yours and others like yourselves sake) the Gospel itself...!! You have not even begun to understand what the free gift of salvation means...

I fear that most people who actually believe that they could keep their own salvation any more than they could do anything to obtain are themselves not saved. Jesus paid the price in full. If you have placed your trust in Him and His finished work, you are saved eternally. Jesus said, "It is finished." When God saves someone, He does it right the first time. If you are truly saved, God will chastise you if you are rebellious to His voice. But consecration is an altogether different matter.

Considering you were friends with GPA and probably a follower too--it doesn't surprise me you say those things. He taught a false gospel, you're all deceived--and you teach a Gnostic version of grace--instead while the Scriptures teach the true Grace that brings salvation..
