@scott797 Free trade is neo-feudalism. It is not surprise that the times of highest poverty and wealth disparity correspond to the most deregulated times in history. Think about it, before the government intervened the children had jobs. ¿See? How evil is the government that removes chidren their jobs and put them in public schools...

@TheLiberalKnight Those "facts" seem similar to the "facts" of the slave owners that argued that their slaves were "well fed and taken care of" and thought that was a good argument for slavery. "Our rule" - you did not ruled the British Empire so do not include yourself. I'm from Argentina and we were invaded by the Empire. If you cannot tolerate the history of your beloved tyrannical empire then it is not our fault, but those "facts" are very suspicious...

@MTL911Truth Yeah, under British rule, the education rates of India rose by 70%. An Indian's wage in 1900 was equal to a British persons. Yet after they got independence, a British wage is now 6 times more. Our rule also brought investment to Africa worth 150% more than it is today. We improved standards of living throughout the empire, that is a fact.

@MTL911Truth The Boxer Rebellion was presented in history books without mentioning opium. Go figure.

James Polk after refusing to run for a second term, because he gave his word not to, was poisoned while on a PEACE Keeping mission through the South. The International Bankers did not want peace.
Zachary Taylor was poisoned because he was gathering troops to occupy the South before a war could get started.
The Russian Tsar feared the International Bankers. Lincoln printed Greenbacks
and was killed for it. He also stood in the way of the rape of the South after the War should he live.

The British really helped the areas of which it owned. You know many african nations still use colonial style trains to this very day. That is but a drop of the helpfulnes of which it had.
Regardless, america is the corrupt country that people point to with suspicion and shout tyranny these days. The Uk has returned to an island nation and is INCREDIBLY liberal and multicultural
lol...yes, it is laughable. the empire was a liberal empire for the most part. It banned slavery before America and its promotion of free trade ensures the "development of population, industry and rising standards of living" throughout the world. This is like a star wars movie, with the big evil empire and the noble American rebels struggling for freedom.. so ridiculous it makes me laugh!!
