I wish Yamaha still had the cheaper model - the 311MS. MusiciansFriend was selling it for 200 bucks.

im about to buy one 1221.. and i try whit a pacifica custom and sounds amazing i guess that this pacifica models are at the same level of a ibanez rg 550 or 570 and cost a little less..

Very unique and nice guitar, you will love the neck (bare neck)... But you should change the control plate (whole wiring) with a better one... RS guitarworks is a good option... They even put vintage capacitor (grey tiger) if you want...

@eurabio I have one of these , great guitar but the selector switch is such low quality, most people who have these replace the switch , and the neck is not easy to adjust either.

so many reviews for years talk of the poor quality selector switch , but Yamaha pays no attention !!

Does anybody with some experience with guitars have the 1511MS? I want opinions, because maybe I'll buy it :(
