East West 101: The Enemy Within. Watch the first episode in this new Australian made Police drama that has a Muslim detective as it's main character and hero. A police officer is killed, apparently by two armed robbers 'of middle Eastern appearance. Zane Malik uses his connections in the Arab community to track down the two youths involved, but also gets accused of putting his community before his job.

There have been enough shows and films about what happens in the US. This kind of stuff happens it pretty much all countries. All countries have a predominant race and minority groups where skin colour often plays a role in identifying perps. Sometimes it's a racist attitude, sometimes all they have to go on is "middle eastern appearance".
