@TheManOfRash they had to tone down every character
-
@peronkop technically it could work, because superman's powers manifest from him solar energy from a yellow sun, so the disruptor could disrupt that energy from being converted into use for his super powers, but I could be wrong
-
@cswurt Well, in the DC Universe, super-powered beings are meant to have a Metagene in their biological makeup, which grants them their superpowers. However:
1. I'm not sure how that works with aliens like Superman and the Martian Manhunter
2. Devices like the power disruptor still shouldn't work on Green Lantern, considering his powers come from the ring and not his D.N.A.
-
@peronkop you are possibly the first to say that.

lex is what is called "lawful evil"
no amount of rightness compelled him not to shoot supes. it was, as he said, because he "gave his word"
-
There is so much wind in that room.
-
flash throwing rocks looooooooooooooooool i thought the fight would be a little bit more intersting then that
-
They obviously had to tone down Supes in the Justice League cartoon
He's so insanely powerful that it would be a shit cartoon if he was how he is supposed to be
-
@1Fireycat Then he would just get his powers back eventually... unless they keep him locked in that redsun cell that the thanigarians used.

You clealry don't know anything about SCIIIIIEEEEENCE!
It makes no sence that a "power disrupter" takes away supermans powers. I mean, he doesn't actually have power. He is like this BY DEFAULT!

I like the idea that Superman was the only one to respect the flag. It suggests that he is very different from his darker counterpart and more able to keep from making the same decisions/mistakes.
