you guys are amazing!! the new wave of progressive is amazing as far as the musicians are concerned however when it gets into the vocals. the new approach sucks. i like the old sound like fates warning or dream theater. thats the type of vocals that go well with progressive metal.

@actionrepo Thanks man, appreciate that. Check out Protest the Hero and The Human Abstract...they have mostly clean vocals with The occasional growl/scream.

@alexstypes thanks for telling me about human abstact as well as protest the hero. i like protest but not human abstract. too much like emo in the voice. you should checkout the bands i mentioned as well as symphony x.

Awesome riffs. I just learned that Progressive metal is when it uses unpredictable occuring notes and technical compositions. Pretty awesome.
