@JZimm8787 Def Leppard performed "Tear It Down" at the '89 VMAs. This was from '91. This was the show that was opened a few minutes earlier by Pee Wee Herman and his infamous line "heard any good jokes lately?" (after his arrest for indecent exposure). Arsenio Hall was a great host. He was actually funny, not like the hosts today who try hard (and fail miserably) to be funny.

As they were ALL listening to Color Me Bad and Boys to Men, and even Extreme...yeah...that was their version of rock LMAO!! ; but fuck em all!!! Where are All those A.H.'s Now!!?

Somewhere I have this tape. Def Leppard also did "Tear It Down" at this show. But then, just months later... a certain grunge band came along to change rock music... not necessarily for the better.
