The USA was a racist country. Some say it still is. During WWII they let a few Negroid men fly aeroplanes.

Instead of looking at that as some kind of racism in disguise... see it for what it is; The beginning of the end of segregation. Women also had new opportunities during the wars. Nobody complains about that, do they?

@332ndVFGBearcat Tell me about it!! My father's unit the 761st Tank Battalion didn't get a presidential unit citation until 1978. No Blackman was awarded the Medal of Honor during World War II. Even German soldiers would scratch their head in disbelief and ask why we fought for a nation that hated our guts. As for dumb Black folks fighting for the Confederacy? Well every liberation movement have their sellouts.

@332ndVFGBearcat And now 20 years later it's the other way around. Listen bud, nobobdy, especially me is denying that people of all colors fought for all sides in WWII. I even read about a Jew in the Finnish Army who was given the Iron Cross for saving a couple of SS men from the Soviets. (He refused it) But this "oh don't forget about the Klostamonians or the Fedurkomans crap is old. There were blacks that fought for the Confederacy! Let's mention everybody who ever fought in a war!
