My wife got to know the band very well in the mid 70s and I saw them many times around southern Ontario when we were dating.Ron (Garfield) always made sure my wife never had to pay cover at their gigs. They left for the States and that was the beginning of the end for them. They were a small fish in a big pond, whereas if they would have stayed in Canada I believe they would have become a big fish in a small pond. They were all such talented musicians it's a shame they just faded away.

I saw Garfield so many times at the end of the 70s! Toronto, Sudbury, Hamilton, Kitchener and Montréal.

@powerpooch2000 Kind of surprising, isn't it? I grew up in a town near S.A. Fell in love with this song in my high school years although I was an 80's teen. A buddy of mine had the song on tape - he was one of the very few who knew this song. Still one of my favorites! I guess we can see it now as one of those things for only those around San Antonio, Texas - Kind of sad though!!!

@dwest99 Keep checking eBay. Thats where I found mine.. I was also told for a VERY SHORT TIME, it was released on CD, I have YET to ever see a copy so I dont know if that was real or not.
