I have to say I'm a fan of the bottom floors as well, and I'm totally down with the Ramen Museum. You've made my girlfriend and I want to visit there, and.... maybe we'll go make some ramen now!

It was really cool how they seemed to fit a whole village in the muesum, how great would it be to work there (all the free Ramen you could wish for, thats my dream!!)

Another great video! I'm watching all of them!

There's a ton of nostalgia attached to the whole ramen culture in Japan. There was a time when ramen was more commonly known as "shina soba" meaning, "Chinese noodles" denoting its place of origin. There also used to be "ramen vendors" making their rounds in many neighborhoods at night pulling a cart and selling the noodles and soup by the bowl. They were a usual sight when I was a little boy growing up in Tokyo some 30+ years ago. I can still smell the hot ramen soup wafing from the cart..

hello tokyo swan i just startes to watch your video's and i must say the are pretty good, well not like tokyo cooney's but really good.I have a question about your classes, are you in school learning japanese only?pls respond

yeah i'm in school here learning just japanese, that's all i did last semester, although this coming one i might have a few cultural classes taught in english as well.
thanks for the kind words on the video. TokyoCooney is obviously a big influence of mine, so if my videos were half as good I'd be happy. These early ones seem like my baby pictures, they do get much better haha.

Ahh yeah, I will probably do a video like that sometime. Let's see, the japanese classes here are much faster compared to the ones back home. About 4 and half hours a day, 5 days a week, and there's a load of homework. It's certainly demanding, but I'm sure will improve the japanese of anyone who strives to take them. Thanks for the comment and subscription!
