I'm reading some these comments and I must say the late Dwayne McDuffie was absolutely right when he said some of Marvel/DC fanboys are WHITE males who take offense to the adding or revision of characters if the change or addition is BLACKNESS. Okay so white people wanna see other white people. Fine. While you wait there's Snow White, Twilight, Beautiful Creatures, anything on the CW, NBC, FX, etc. I don't see WHITE under representation. U good.

I like the new look and to see the world stepping up for more diversity in films with characters. I am a black comic nerd, and I always loved Black Panther. To see more african americans playing roles as great comic villians makes me proud to not only be black, but also proud that its promoting change in the world, and that excites me especially for this generation. CANNOT wait!

Personally, as a fanboy from the early age of the first memories I have-massive amounts of comics, cards, figurines etc etc, I'm tired of Hollywood shitting on the storylines of every comic movie they make. Hell, it could be a mexican, asian, skin color doesn't matter. If they made a Spawn movie and he was white I'd be flipping my shit. If they made Black Panther, Goliath, Cloak, Blade, Storm, Luke Cage, or many others white, mexican or asian.I'D BE FLIPPING MY SHIT. Stop fucking with the story.

Gotta say - Electro's back-story in this film sounds like it's going to be awesome! My biggest concern with Electro being the villain in this film had been that he was always just sort of a thug with superpowers in the comics, but giving him this personal connection to Spider-Man makes it sound like he is going to make a fantastic major villain!

Actually, I disagree with that change more than I do this one. Don't really care about Electro being black, or Kingpin in the DareDevil movie, didn't care. But an Asian character being played by a British man with Indian heritage, just wrong. What was even worse though was the entire damn casting for Thor. There are many characters that can easily and understandably change race. But having, an Australian, Brit, Asian, and African play Norse Gods, definitely wrong.

For all those who are all of a sudden having issues with the race change why the fuuuuuuuuuuuck are you so pissed im a follower of the Ultimate Spider-man series and i'm not even pissed. I am glad that Jamie Foxx is playing Electro in this sequel you guys need to back the fuck off and accept it or make your own movie and hope to make as much as the least important role in this movie, and for those that will be like "oh well its my opinion"...beautiful if so don't be such an asshole about it. :)
