No. Despite the numbering, "#1" was actually written third, for a planned 1807 performance in Prague. Leonore #2 was the first overture.

The connection starting at 1:37 up is very similar to a connection in his 3rd piano concerto, 1st movement at the end of the 1st theme.

was this overture composed for Eleonore Von Breuning??? she was Beethoven's first student, best friend through all his life and his first love! do you know if this was for her???

Sorry, I haven't gotten information regarding orchestra and conductor. If I had, I'd have posted it with the music. I don't like lack of identification either.
