  • I sure love it when you would get to see SP 2472 run this fast out on the maineline, something she cant do while she is in Niles Cayon. Southern Pacific 2472 still has to find someway to leave the Niles Canyon Railway and go back on to Mainline Tracks

  • @ThomasRivette Dont worry Thomas I'm willing to fight against the Union Pacific to help get 2472 back on the mainline. We'll get the engine back on the Mainline even if it would have to be by hook or crook!

  • Its 2472, not 2742. She and her sister pacific's were assigned to commuter service back in the 50's.

  • when did 2742 pull commuter trains for Cal Train?
