Part 1 of this movie contains video of the beginning of the race and the race itself. This was filmed by Dubside from the dock on Bowman Bay, and by Andrew Elizaga in vivid *KAYAK-VISION* from a camera mounted on the stern of his kayak. Stay tuned for Part 2, coming soon!
The music is from The Kronos Quartet Performs Philip Glass, String Quartet No. 2 (Mishima): 1957-Award Montage. For an alternate soundtrack, try watching it while playing Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries.

No, I hadn't seen that commercial before. I just watched it now on YouTube. I like Philip Glass. His music has been featured in a number of documentaries that I admire such as Koyaanisqatsi and The Fog of War, so much so that now it's almost become a cliche to use his music in a documentary.
