bro i have some questions as i am like new in this nikon life

1.- im gonna do some proyect at school and its kinda like an stop motion and i want to control the NIKON D5000 with the PC how can i do that?

online it says i have the configuration wrong i have it in mass storage and the camera has to be on MTP or PTP mode HOW CAN I DO THAT? how can i change that option to control the nikon D5000 with the pc

This camera comes with Nikon Transfer software which reads RAW format files and also can convert them into JPEG.
