Love Onion Friends Montclair NJ public television show

In 1990 the infamous although relatively unknown band Love Onion was featured on a famous cable television show performing their song "Friends". Love Onion were Peter Gallagher, Pat Longo, Scott Warnasch, Kathy Smalley, Ron Liberti and Dave Alworth.

The band also performed live on WFMU where Kathy was a DJ and Pat still hosts shows. Love Onion played many venues including the Loop Lounge, Roys in Montclair and their final appearance at Maxwell's in Hoboken.

Pete is now in Holmes, Scott formed The Hoppin Haole Brothers, Ron & Dave were in Pipe and Pat was in Hippopotamus.

We are not allowed to mention who hosted this fabulous television show but you probably know who it is; he's like a family relative, one of your parent's brothers whose name rhymes with Lloyd.
