Beach view of a SUP class off a beach north of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Great view of beach area, beautiful location with the sound of construction workers doing their thing.

Turn the video volume down or play some Hawaiian music to cover up the saws and hammers during video, I was near a hotel that was undergoing a big renovation and remodel. Did not realize the construction sounds would overpower the waves and beach sounds.

From Wikipedia:
"Stand up paddle surfing (SUP), or in the Hawaiian language Hoe he'e nalu, is an emerging global sport with a Hawaiian heritage. The sport is an ancient form of surfing, and reemerged as a way for surfing instructors to manage their large groups of students, as standing on the board gave them a higher viewpoint. This increased visibility of what was going on around them such as incoming swell."

  • @herjoy2 Hello. We were on an anniversary and vacation, had a fantastic time there, would love to go back soon. NSB

  • Looks beautiful. thanks. Are you spending more time there?

  • @jaegerdogg Yes, I agree with you, Hawaii is a great place.

  • Reminds me of the movie, Summer Rental, where John Candy was staying in a beach house next to a loud construction renovation. I would put up with anything to be back at the Islands now. Midwest winters suck.
