Any Flamenco purists should click away right away! This is a collab between me and Ruben Díaz, a wonderful Flamenco player who recently joined my forum at http://www.guitarforbeginners/com/forum He studied under Paco de Lucia who wrote the original Rio Ancho. Ruben invited us to do some improvisation over the chord progression and I figured I do what I know best: slide guitar.

Ruben played the amazing acoustics in this track. I never get tired of hearing them and the beautiful rhythm he sets up. Be sure to check out his videos here at YT: http://www.youtube.com/user/rdiazflamencojazz

Join us at the forum! There's all kinds of neat stuff going on there.

  • Kirk did it again....this time staying truthfull to his style jamming over some excquisite Spannish Blues...Remarkable how each note, each breath marries *overnight*. And its ALL music to my ears. You, mon Ami, are special. Very special.,

    A très bienôt!

    Pascal

(now you got 2 reasons to come over to spain! ;)

  • Maestro Kirk:

    I can only say BRAVO!,BRAVO!,BRAVO!.

I feel like if I know you all life!,Ole,Ole y Ole,with all my heart.

For people like you there are no limits,no prejudices...I admire you for this as well...this is how every true musician at least (IMO) should be:Open minded, and generous.

Thanks again for your music, and for making me and the audience happy, with this example of freedom!,and universal sensibility that you convey with your music! Gracias.
