  • Was that the 1972 gas powered, or the famous 1968 coal fire powered video camera you have there. Sounds sheet.

  • @chriskeenan1 LOL. It was a fuji finepix S5700 digital camera. Not a camcorder. I wanted pics but as the bird seemed to soar higher and higher i thought i'd experiment with the video mode. Considering that, i thought the result was ok! Ive got a Nikon D500 now. Thats a quality camera which gives far better results.

  • @taffwall Sorry mate, I was just having a wee mickey take. Your hawk looks in great condition, as for the camera work, it's absolutely fine. I'm just jealous coz you've got hawks and I don't lol. I would love a harris hawk, but I wouldn't have the time to look after it. I live in Cumbernauld near the falconary centre, so at least I can pop in there from time to time. Keep up the good work.

  • @chriskeenan1 No worries. Cheers for reply. Hope 1 day you will have time for a hawk. Its a wonderfull experience. The feeling you get when you release it free for the first time and it comes back is really special.

  • Oh, this birds want some baggie under it, or at least lure.

  • @hex0bite Absolutely. Unfortunately we had no lure with us :(
